“You’ll be overwhelmed by the warm Southern hospitality that is the hallmark of innkeeper David Worthington. To say he loves his B&B and town is an understatement. The B&B was built in 1897 and operated as the Sunnyside hotel in the 1920′s and ’30′s. Today it is fully restored with the original pine walls, ceilings, and floors. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.”

“Sit on the wraparound porch with David, and take in the beauty. Ferns flutter from hanging pots, and the oaks whisper the promise of a Gulf breeze (the beach is located just 9 miles to the south). Once inside, marvel at the beautiful woodwork – heart-pine floors, rare curly pine door facings, and beaded heart yellow pine walls and ceilings. Truth be told, you may find it difficult to rouse yourself from the porch, basking in the quiet pleasures of small-town living and admiring the lush foliage.”
