• On December 13th, 1996, owner and host David Worthington obtained the home turning it into a bed and breakfast. The Magnolia Springs Bed & Breakfast opened its doors to the public on March 14th, 1997.

• The McNair Roomis located upstairs, features a queen bedroom.

• In 1980, Rita and Don McNair purchased the home, and lovingly restored the structure that had been divided into a duplex. Mrs. McNair was a member of the Hadley family, and her roots in Magnolia Springs reached back between four and five generations.

• After Mrs. Harding's death, the property was inherited by Mrs. Harding's sister and her husband, Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Cowen. They ceased to run it as a hotel as they were very private people, however, the house still served as the community's major meeting place and the Sunday dining place until the late 40's or early 1950's.

The Mclennan Room, is the only bedroom located downstairs and features 12 foot ceilings and has a iron canopy king-sized bed.

• On July 31, 1897, Christopher McLennon purchased lot 5 in the Lymans Addition and began construction on a frame house. At the same time, other lots in the vicinity were sold, and several large hotels were built, near the headwaters of the river, to help attract people to the community.
