We have adopted the “open door” policy at our Alabama bed and breakast to meet our guest’s needs. Pictured is a new much wider door being installed by Jason Haffner. It offers much easier access for our guests. It looks great, now needs to be painted.
We have had some inquiries about furnishing bathrobes for the guest rooms. While attending the National Innkeepers Conference this past January, we learned that some B&B guests expect bathrobes to be available so we have teamed up with DNJ Specialties to grant their wishes. Guest rooms are now furnished with embroidered bathrobes and I must say they are pretty cool.
The B&B has also teamed up with Bnbfinder and we have a new listing on their directory. They have a great directory, a great resource. Here is another great B&B directory.
Just a reminder that every 2nd weekend in April is the Strawberry Festival in Loxley, AL. Come on out and see that strawberry shortcake is still “king”. Thanks for readin’ y’all !
