The Wharf at Orange Beach

The Wharf at Orange Beach, though beautiful all year, is an especially great place to visit around Christmas time. Strap on those ice skates because The Wharf features an ice-skating rink all month long in addition to other fun events like romantic Horse and Carriage Rides on the weekends. Or, if you’ve got something you really want this year, good ole’ Santa Claus is taking requests and pictures, perfect for the young or the young at heart. Concluding the month is a special “Reelin’ In the New Year” street party and confetti drop for the kids, so the whole family can celebrate Auld Lang Syne.

A one night only special event, make sure you don’t miss one of the most spectacular attractions of the season, the 33rd annual Christmas Lighted Boat Parade! On Dec 8th make your way down to the best viewing spot at Orange Beach and prepare to be wowed as over 45 lighted and decorated vessels make their way along the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s a wonderful way to spend an evening down at the Wharf as the boats put on their magical water show.

‘Tis the Season

There’s something about the atmosphere of the holiday season that truly can’t be described with words. A feeling of warmth and happiness, of joy and laughter, of a wish and desire for peace upon this earth. Families come together, and people are reunited with their loved ones as gentle snow falls outside. A roaring fireplace gives warmth to those around it and a hot drink in hand warms the soul as nothing else can. It’s an oftentimes indescribable feeling, a special time of the year where stress and worries are easily replaced with holiday mirth and good will towards men. We here at Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast invite you to celebrate this holiday season here with us. With convenient access to all the events listed above, it’s a great way to get away for the season and give the gift of warm southern hospitality. We hope to see you stay with us soon and, from everyone at Magnolia Springs, we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
