Alabama B&B October 2011 Events Update

Sept 30:   We are gearing up for another great Culinary Wine Tasting Weekend. The event has filled the rooms at the Inn, although there are still openings for Faulkner State’s Gulf Coast Culinary Institute classes. See their website faulknerstate.edu for further info. We will kickoff the weekend for guests at the Inn with a reception at Jesse’s Restaurant. The Wine tasting and food pairing is sure to please.

Oct 6-9:  Thunder on the Gulf will be at Orange Beach, AL. The top 20 event in the southeast is hosted by the Gulf Coast Powerboat Association. Race Village will be at the State Park Pavilion and will be jam-packed with excitement! Oct 13-16:  The Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Gulf Shores 40th Annual National Shrimp Festival. Lodging is available at the Inn. Over 300,000 tourists visit the festival for fine art, arts and crafts presented by over 300 vendors. Event goers can submit recipes for the “Best of the Fest” contest or enter the sand sculpture contest. Two stages will offer continuous live entertainment. Admission is Free.  Book Your Stay Today
