Voted as “2009 and 2010 Favorite Rodeo” of the year by the Professional Cowboy Association, The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation Annual Rodeo is held each August to increase awareness and support for Peer Helper programs in our schools and organizations designed to help troubled youth. All proceeds from the Rodeo are used to fund the works of the Jennifer Claire Moore foundation in Alabama. 2011 Rodeo Dates: August 4th, 5th, & 6th
Pre-Rodeo activities begin at 7:00pm each night with a free children’s village on Saturday night.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 4–12, and free for children 3 and under. Tickets are available online, at Summerdale Western Store, State Farm in Foley, and at the gate.
Three hundred professional cowboys and cowgirls from across the country perform for over 8,000 spectators. Events include bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping and steer wrestling. Other events: “Hometown Heroes” night, active and retired military, as well as emergency service personnel are honored. “Tough Enough to Wear Pink”, breast cancer awareness night and Saturday “Family Night” features a free children’s village.
